His passion for fostering entrepreneurial attitudes and skills, his practical, real-world knowledge and experience, and his wide-ranging networks have enabled him to make an extraordinary impact within RMIT, the broader Australian community and New Zealand and Vietnam.
The award for the Best Entrepreneurial Educator of the Year 2008 primarily addressed Marcus’ pivotal role in the RMIT Entrepreneur in Residence and Business Plan Competition programs. Through both these programs, he plays a uniquely broad role in developing and nurturing entrepreneurs across all RMIT’s academic areas including science, design, business, social sciences, architecture and engineering.
Congratulations to Marcus from his colleagues in the RMIT Business Innovation Unit, and from the many RMIT students, staff and alumni he has advised, encouraged - and given the occasional rocket to - over the years.
